Other Activities

Knit and Natter meets informally on the 2nd and 4th Monday afternoons of each month.  Projects that are undertaken are firstly producing squares to be made into blessing blankets, which are blessed by Tom before distribution.   We have also been involved in a range of other projects: knitted stars for the village Christmas trail, knitted nativity sets to raffle at the Crib Festivals, items for the Operation Christmas Child shoe box appeal, and for sale at the Country Fayre, Easter baskets,  bonnets and blankets for the neo-natal unit at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, hats, gloves and scarves for the food bank..and of course folk knit or crochet for themselves!
